Dr. Simmons is originally from a small town of about 3,000 people named Pickens in South Carolina. He completed his undergraduate studies at Clemson University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Genetics with a minor in Biological Sciences. He then went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

He then decided to further his education by completing a General Practice Residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he received specialized training in managing medically complex patients and dental trauma. He also received advanced training in implant dentistry.

Dr. Simmons' interest in dentistry started in high school after shadowing a local dentist in his hometown, where he saw the impact a beautiful smile can make on someone's life. He is passionate about incorporating the latest technology into his patients' treatment to make their experience better and more comfortable.

Hobbies: When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Simmons enjoys exploring the DMV area with his fiancée, Grace, and their dog, a pug named Penelope. He also enjoys watching his Clemson Tigers play football and returns frequently for games.
